NEWS AND STUFF
My MA in Folklore is an absolute dream. It’s scary writing academic essays again after 20+ years, but also great being a mature student and thoroughly enjoying the work. If you’re in London, I recommend visiting the British Library Fantasy Realms of the Imagination exhibit!
I’ve been working in London since my last newsletter rather than travelling about. I’ve been teaching improv and devising at various US universities in London. My Skilful Leaders training has come to an end and I’m making plans for 2024.
I had a fabulous coaching session with Track 96 led by Will Naameh (MC Hammersmith) who is an absolute master of comedy freestyling. What a treat to learn such useful stuff.
Power of Uke led several fabulous sessions with PWC and we had a great company Xmas party too.
With all the folklore fun, I’m doubling down on the Mythic Improv Journey and Retreat in 2024, so get involved if that’s your kind of thing. I’ve released dates for my next Write Your Solo Show course, so get involved as that always sells out.
