Improv News!
Hi!
It’s been ages.
If you’re new here - thanks for joining me!
Above, you can see the trailer for my new immersive show/game Ghostwatching with Katy Schutte. New dates are coming up in April and May, so keep an eye on Bristol Improv Theatre for tickets.
Below I’ve included a handful of guest classes, panels and festivals where you can come and do some improv with me.
I’m currently teaching The Mythic Improv Journey and Play Like Brené, but those courses have sold out. I’ll give you a shout when more become available.
Friday 26th March: Difficult Situations
A class/discussion primarily for improv teachers to learn how to deal with tough moments in classes. Also super useful for your own boundaries and expectations as a player.
From Thursday 4th March: Creative Improv Practice for Homeworking
Four weekly one-hour coffee-break sessions to get you refreshed and in a creative, positive headspace for whatever job you do. Beginners (and anyone else) welcome.
Sunday 7th March:International Womxn’s Day Creative Retreat
A fun, creative festival raising money for Womxn’s charities. I’m doing a short improv session as part of it. Beginners welcome.
Monday 12th April: The Improv Place Drop-in
This is a mixed-ability class specifically for people from under-represented groups; in collaboration with Black Improv Alliance. It’s free and ticketed. Tell your friends.
Friday 26th March: What Are You Finding Difficult Right Now?
I’m leading a session called Solution Corner where you can bring your improv problems and we’ll talk or gamify them out.
