HELLO
I’m Katy Schutte. I write, improvise, perform and teach public and corporate workshops.
NEWS AND STUFF
I’ve had a lovely week doing lots of day trips to hills, parks and beaches in the UK with my partner and dog. I’ve been knitting animals with my scrap yarn and watching a lot of TV and movies. Grandma and Sisu were particular favourites.
Last month, I had a great time guest teaching at the FA, running Game of the Show with Chris Mead and teaching a VR course with the Electrostatic Workshop. I loved seeing Ben Schwartz improvising in a big venue and doing some brilliant shows with Project2, Hell Yeah!, Yes Queens and others.
Today is the start of a head-down busy writing week, then I’m off to Bristol to teach a 5-day intensive and then to Germany for the Karlsruhe Improv Festival.
I’ve been planning some lovely things for the attendees of my Mythic Improv Retreat in September which I’m so excited for.

A 6-week course helping improvisers put improvisation and virtual reality together. You don’t need to be a gamer or have any prior knowledge of VR to come along.
