NEWS AND STUFF

Boy, it’s been a busy one. I spent a week at the Bristol Improv Theatre teaching an intensive. My dog came along which was adorable and also meant that I had pretty long days! The students were amazing and I was so, so proud of their performances in the end-of-course show; a new improv format I’ve called Landing. Lloydie, Ben and I smashed out a Brand New Musical too.

I’m writing this the morning after the final show of the Karlsruhe Improv Festival in Germany. With rehearsals every day and new shows every night, it’s been a total dream. I love this work and am always thrilled to be directed and challenged to try new and innovative ways of working with the improv art form.

I managed to squeeze my Arctic show rewrites into the gaps…

My focus is now on the very first Mythic Improv Retreat in a few weeks. I’m so excited to do this work live; visiting myth and self-enquiry in a beautiful setting and harnessing improv as a ritual practice. A place has just become available in the house, so go ahead and book if you’re interested. There’s also one final offsite ticket.

Intro to Virtual Improv (London) from 8th November
A 6-week course helping improvisers put improvisation and virtual reality together. You don’t need to be a gamer or have any prior knowledge of VR to come along.
