New Mythic Improv offerings...
HELLO
I’m Katy Schutte. I write, improvise, perform and teach public and corporate workshops.

NEWS AND STUFF
I’ve started an MA in Folklore and my Arctic show at Omnibus Theatre has been moved to next Autumn, so I get more leisurely re-writes.
I had the absolute joy of teaching and performing at Gather Improv Festival in Ireland and went straight to the French Alps afterwards for my second in-person Skilful Leaders retreat. Lots of gorgeous nature and an overnight mountain hut stay.
The last few days were a real treat, performing in Track 96 and Schutte n’ Stars at Hoopla Impro.
I’m off to Nottingham today to rehearse with Lloydie James Lloyd and Sam Marshall under the coaching genius of Tim Sniffen. We’re preparing for our second residential show of Brand New Musical; an improvised Sondheim/Jason Robert Brown show.
After the huge success of the Mythic Improv Retreat last month, I’m thrilled to be putting on another one to celebrate the Spring Equinox. Likewise, I’ve opened up the Mythic Improv Journey for 2024 which is an 8-session Zoom class celebrating the Wheel of the Year.
